Building a successful relationship between the entrepreneur and the investor is key to ensuring that the new venture is off to a good start, is well managed and reaches its potential value.   The third Pappas Entrepreneurial Leadership Series will feature Dr. Heidi Kuehnle, President, Kuehnle Agrosystems and Dr. Robert Robinson, Managing Partner of Kolohala Ventures, and Jason K. Lau, founder of TalkStory Productions as guest speakers.  Dr. Jeffrey Crawford who is Consulting Psychologist at Executive Assessment & Development, and a HPU adjunct faculty, will facilitate the discussion.  In a highly interactive format, they will share their perspectives, experience, and thoughts on a range of important topics that include what entrepreneurs and their investors should expect of each other.  Questions include "what factors encourage or inhibit the successful building of the relationship leading to growth of the venture?"  Be ready for an enjoyable and informative session.  There will be refreshments and pupus during the networking following the talk.

  Bus #2 and 13 of The Bus will take you from Hotel St Downtown (in front of Long's) to venue.  Stop at Whaler's General Store from across the street.  ING Direct Cafe is across from Tony Roma's on the same side of street.  If driving, please turn into Pau Street from Kalakaua Ave for valet parking at no charge. 

There will be a HPU van to take students and staff to ING Direct Café.  Send an email to bchua@hpu.edu if you intend to use this option. Once confirmed, please turn up because seats are limited.   Anthony Marlin, the van driver, will pick you up at Kukui Plaza HPU transport pickup, 2 pm.  You may also take the van if you have not signed up, but it will be subject to available seats. Do be punctual because traffic to Waikiki is heavy on Friday afternoons.
